FIRST AID

Practical training for employees designated to provide first aid
It is the employer’s responsibility to appoint a person trained in first aid. The designated person should be trained in first aid.
The employer should ensure that the persons designated to provide first aid are people with appropriate knowledge and training in this field, and thus – that in a crisis situation, they are able to efficiently and reliably help the victim and call the appropriate services.
First aid means simple, immediate actions performed on the victims of accidents, disasters and emergencies that threaten their life or health until professional medical care is provided. First aid is to minimize the negative consequences of the incident before it is possible to provide specialist medical help
